Run For Charity and Help Bring Life-Changing Dental Care to Those in Need

Do you want to help make a difference to people in need of life-changing dental care? Do you want to challenge yourself, get fit, and achieve something you can be proud of?

Our charity partner Dentaid the Dental Charity is looking for runners and race novices alike to support them through a sponsored run this winter or in 2026.

There are plenty of places available for iconic running races in the UK and Europe over the coming months.

Among the challenges on offer are popular choices like the Cardiff Half Marathon on 4 October 2026, where’ll you’ll be among nearly 30,000 runners taking to the streets of the Welsh capital on a scenic route taking in iconic landmarks like Cardiff Castle, the Principality Stadium and the Wales Millennium Centre.

There’s also the chance to reserve a space in marathons in Edinburgh, Brighton, Leeds and Manchester, as well as a European adventure running through the romantic streets of Paris on 12 April 2026. And for new runners (or fast walkers) there are places available in 5k and 10k events – a great way to push your limits in the name of a good cause.

Signing up is simple. Just visit the fundraising events page of the Dentaid website, select your race and agree to fundraise the minimum amount. The money you raise will go directly towards funding our charity dental clinics across the UK.

Dentaid’s fleet of 11 mobile dental units visit settings across the country which work with people experiencing homelessness, families living in poverty, people in recovery from addiction, vulnerable women, people fleeing abuse, cancer patients, fishing communities and more. By lacing up your running shoes, you will be helping people in under-served communities access urgent dental care which can make a real difference to their lives.
